Local Dining

If you want to experience local Tonopah dining, we have some praiseworthy restaurants that are within walking distance.

This local brewing company and barbeque restaurant creates southern style brisket, turkey, and chicken, homemade sandwiches, and a huge array of sides.  The burnt ends are not to be missed. There are 8 brewed beers on tap, made right on the premises.  The Tonopah Brewing Company also makes its own variety of barbecue sauces ranging from Sweetheart to Nuclear Test Site.

It’s not often that you find great Chinese food in the middle of the desert, but that’s exactly what you get at the Bamboo Chinese Kitchen.  The food is second to none, the servings are huge, and the service is always fast and friendly.  This restaurant is a hidden gem in Tonopah.

If you are in Tonopah and looking for authentic Mexican food, look no further.  El Marques has a variety of menu choices, a helpful staff, and a fun atmosphere.  With an expansive menu, the staff will gladly give you a recommendation if you are having trouble deciding what to order. El Marques Restaurant features a full bar and the best quesadillas in Nevada.

The Pittman Café, named after the late Senator Key Pittman, serves American comfort food. Try a specialty like the Miner’s Stew served with freshly baked bread. The original stained glass windows sit behind a 30 foot bar. Vintage chandeliers help create the ambiance for a walk back in time. Spirits, wine, and beer are available at this great restaurant located in the Mizpah hotel.

Known as the local burger barn, Cisco’s Restaurant is a favorite in Tonopah. Cisco’s has a wide variety of menu options including a Philly cheesesteak, pulled pork, and pizza. With a little bit of everything, you’re sure to find something on the menu that hits the spot. Cisco’s has an old town feel and there are plenty of large windows for gorgeous desert views.
